Air Tightness Testing Certification Training June 25, 2014

CRESNET (The Canadian Residential Energy Services Network) is pleased to be offering its custom air tightness testing course in Toronto on June 25th, 2014. This full day course has been developed by CRESNET to meet the exacting standards set for Canadian energy raters based on the RESNET model. It is the only non-government program training available to air tightness testers. The successful completion of this course and exam offers participants certification as an air tightness tester- the first step in moving towards full Certification as a Canadian Energy Rater.

  • Date: Wednesday June 25, 2014 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (includes time for certification exam)
  • Location: Fantasy Farm Event Centre, 50 Pottery Rd, Toronto

      The instructor is not 100% confirmed yet. We are awaiting confirmation from a couple of people. I will post it here once it is confirmed.

      Angela, sorry for the delay in confirming this. the instructors are:
      Paul Duffy, P.Eng, is VP of Engineering for Icynene and a Founding CRESNET board member. Paul has worked in the energy efficiency/ building science field for over 30 years. Toby Smith is Senior Technical Advisor and Training Coordinator at AmeriSpec of Canada. Toby has over 9 years’ experience in the energy field including hundreds of blower door tests.
