Membership Categories

FULL MEMBER

Full CRESNET membership is available to principal representatives of companies active in the industry. Full members enjoy general voting privileges and are eligible for nomination to the board. The primary contact for an energy rating firm would be a FULL MEMBER, while any other staff members would hold an associate membership (see below). Apply here, and your energy rating membership request will be reviewed promptly.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Associate membership is available to employees of full members who are active in the industry. Those with a CRESNET membership can also participate as associate members, who enjoy general voting privileges. Additionally, this energy rating membership ensures that members stay engaged and informed.

INFORMATION MEMBER

CRESNET offers associate memberships for representatives of companies that are not currently active in the industry but wish to stay informed about CRESNET's activities. It's important to note that these information members, including those with energy rating memberships, do not possess voting privileges.

STUDENT MEMBER

This complimentary associate membership class is designed for students currently enrolled in a post-secondary course that may lead to them becoming an energy rater, as well as for those in a related discipline who are interested in the energy rating industry. This CRESNET membership opportunity allows participants to deepen their understanding and skills relevant to the energy rating membership.
